Francesco Parisio, Guest Scientist at IDAEA linked to the ERC-StG project GEoREST, is presenting today “Fault stability during re-injection in deep geothermal systems” at the 7th International Conference on Coupled THMC Processes in Geosystems, GeoProc201
After Stockholm, Sweden (GeoProc2003), Nanjing, China (GeoProc2006), Lille, France (GeoProc2008), Perth, Western Australia (GeoProc2011), Utah, United States (GeoProc2015), and Paris, France (GeoProc2017), the 7th GeoProc will take place in the city of Utrecht in the Netherlands, on 3-5 July 2019.
Victor Vilarrasa from IDAEA is presenting "On the low potential of CO2 leakage as a result of fault reactivation in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)" at the 10th Trondheim CCS Conference
The bi-annual Trondheim CCS Conference has become a globally leading scientific CCS technology conference.
Since its inception in 2003, the Conference has developed to be an essential meeting place for over 400 CCS experts. The Conference typically has 150 oral presentations, five or six parallel sessions, over 100 posters and world leading keynote speakers.
ERC Starting Grant GEoREST (predictinG EaRthquakES induced by fluid injecTion) awarded to Dr. Victor Vilarrasa started on 1st February 2019
The ERC operates according to a "curiosity-driven", or "bottom-up", approach, allowing researchers to identify new opportunities in any field of research. Accordingly the portfolio ERC funded projects spans a wide range of topics and research questions.
Since 2007, more than 9,000 projects have been selected to receive ERC funding throughout the EU Member States and the associated countries.
